There's no mainstream IBO Player Pro app for macOS. A Mac still works fine as a second screen — use one of the options below and let support set you up.
Option 1 — Web player (nothing to install)
If your account includes a web-player link, open it in Safari, Chrome or Firefox and sign in. Ideal for a quick check or a window beside your work.
Option 2 — A desktop IPTV player
A dedicated macOS IPTV player gives you a channel guide and favourites. Support will recommend one and provide your playlist URL (or server URL, username and password).
Option 3 — VLC (single channels)
Free and reliable: File → Open Network and paste your playlist URL. No guide, but solid for one channel at a time.
Don't install "IBO Player Pro for Mac" DMG files from unknown websites. Use the options above.

For the big screen
If you want it on the TV, an Apple TV check (see the Apple TV guide) or a Fire TV Stick with IBO Player Pro (see the Firestick guide) is easier and more reliable than a Mac wired to the TV.
Common questions
Is there an IBO Player Pro app for Mac?
Not a mainstream one. On a Mac, use the IPTVSMART web player in your browser or a desktop IPTV player. Contact support and we'll set it up.
Can I run the iPad app on an Apple Silicon Mac?
Sometimes iPad apps can be installed on Apple Silicon Macs if the developer allows it, but this isn't reliable for IBO Player Pro. The web player or a desktop player is the dependable route — ask support.
Should I download an IBO Player Pro DMG from a website?
No. Don't install unofficial macOS builds from unknown sites. Use the options support provides.
