IPTV on Amazon Fire TV & Firestick

Amazon's Fire TV devices are the default recommendation for IPTVSMART in Canada: cheap, sold everywhere, and powerful enough for smooth playback once set up.

- Your IPTVSMART welcome email (username, password, server URL) or a login code.

Installing (overview)
Fire TV doesn't carry every IPTV player in its app store, so most setups use the Downloader app to side-load the recommended player named in your welcome email:
- Install Downloader from the Fire TV app store.
- In Settings → My Fire TV → Developer options, allow installs from unknown sources for Downloader.
- Open Downloader, enter the link from your welcome email, install the player.
- Open the player and sign in with your details or login code.

Performance tips
- Wire it if you can. A €10 USB-Ethernet adapter for Fire TV eliminates most buffering, especially for 4K sports.
- If staying on Wi-Fi, use 5 GHz and keep the stick close to the router. The stick's antenna is small.
- Restart the Fire TV weekly (Settings → My Fire TV → Restart). They slow down after long uptime.
- Close background apps; the HD Stick in particular has limited memory.
