How to install IBO Player Pro on Firestick — complete setup guide
Install Downloader, enter our code 481220, install IBO Player Pro, open the Account screen, then send us your MAC Address and Device Key on WhatsApp. About 10 minutes.
This works on any compatible Fire TV Stick or Fire TV Cube. Fire TV menus change between models and software versions, so a couple of screens may look slightly different — the order of steps is the same.
What you'll do: install the free Downloader app → enter our code 481220 → install IBO Player Pro → open the Account screen → send us your MAC Address and Device Key on WhatsApp → restart. That's it.
Step 1 — Install Downloader
- Turn on your Firestick and wait for the Fire TV home screen.
- Select Find (the magnifying glass), then Search.
- Type Downloader and select it from the results.
- Select Download / Get to install the Downloader app from the Amazon Appstore.
- Select Open.
Step 2 — Enter the code
Inside Downloader, make sure you're on the Home tab with the URL box selected.
Type this code exactly, then select Go:
481220 The IBO Player Pro installation package begins downloading. (If the code ever fails, you can instead enter the official direct link https://iboproapp.com/ibopro.apk.)
Step 3 — Install IBO Player Pro
When the download finishes, an installer screen appears.
- Select Install.
- Wait for App installed to appear.
- Select Done (not "Open" yet).
- Downloader asks if you want to delete the installation file — select Delete, then Delete again. This just frees space; the app is already installed.
- Go back to the Fire TV home screen and open IBO Player Pro.
Got a message that the install is blocked? Newer Fire TV devices block apps from outside the Amazon Appstore until you give Downloader permission. Do Step 4, then come back and install again.
Step 4 — Allow apps from Unknown Sources (newer Fire TV)
Because the app is installed through Downloader rather than the Amazon Appstore, some Fire TV devices need you to turn on the install permission first. The exact wording differs by Fire TV software version — here is the current Amazon path:
- From the Fire TV home screen, open Settings (the gear icon).
- Select My Fire TV (older devices: Device or System).
- Select About.
- Highlight your Fire TV device name and press the Select button about 7 times, until you see "No need, you are already a developer" or Developer options unlocks.
- Go back to My Fire TV and open Developer options.
- Select Install unknown apps (older devices: Apps from Unknown Sources).
- Find Downloader in the list and switch it ON.
- Go back to Downloader and repeat Steps 2–3.
Amazon also publishes official instructions for enabling app installation on Fire TV if you'd like to cross-check the menu names for your model.
Step 5 — Open the Account screen and find your two codes
Open IBO Player Pro from the Fire TV home screen. Go to Account (on some builds this screen shows on first launch). Find:
- MAC Address — looks like
AA:BB:CC:DD:EE:FF - Device Key — a short code on the same screen
Copy both exactly as the app shows them. Don't add spaces, don't change any characters, and don't use a MAC address from your Fire TV's network settings — use the one IBO Player Pro displays. Keep the Device Key private; only send it to us on WhatsApp.
Step 6 — Send your MAC Address & Device Key
Step 7 — Restart and choose your playlist
After support confirms your device is set up:
- Close IBO Player Pro completely. Hold the Home button, highlight IBO Player Pro, press the menu button (three lines) and choose Close — or unplug the Firestick for 10 seconds.
- Reopen the app.
- Choose Continue, then Change Playlists if prompted, and select your playlist.
- Your channels load. Our team adds your authorized playlist to your device and handles activation while you're on WhatsApp — usually within a few minutes during support hours.
- If nothing appears after a minute or two, check your internet and message us again.
Troubleshooting

Common questions
Why is my Firestick blocking the installation?
Newer Fire TV devices block apps installed outside the Amazon Appstore until you turn on the install permission for the Downloader app. See the Unknown Sources step below — the menu path is Settings, My Fire TV, Developer options, Install unknown apps.
What should I do if Downloader doesn't work?
Check the code is typed exactly as 481220 with no spaces, make sure the Firestick is online, and try again. If Downloader still can't download, restart the Firestick and your router, then retry. Still stuck — message us on WhatsApp.
Where do I find the MAC Address and Device Key?
Open IBO Player Pro and go to the Account screen. It shows a MAC Address in the form AA:BB:CC:DD:EE:FF and a Device Key. Copy both exactly as shown.
Is IBO Player Pro free on Firestick?
The app has a one-time activation inside it. That activation is covered by your IPTVSMART subscription — send us your MAC Address and Device Key and we take care of it.
My playlist doesn't appear after activation.
Fully close IBO Player Pro (hold Home, select IBO Player Pro, press menu, Close) and reopen it, then choose Continue and Change Playlists and select your playlist. If it's still empty, check your internet and send us a screenshot of the Account screen.
